In 1964 Lassen County observed it’s 100th anniversary in a series of events culminating with the annual Lassen County Fair and Livestock Show in August.
The California Senate, in a resolution introduced by Senator Stanley Arnold of Susanville on April 1st extended warmest congratulations to the citizens of Lassen County and urged all citizens of California during 1964 to visit the county and enjoy the western spirit which prevailed.
