
Get ready to spice things up, Susanville! The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to bring back the 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, April 25th.
Taking place at the Lassen County Fairgrounds during the Chamber’s exciting Spring Show, this event is the perfect opportunity to bring the heat and let your culinary skills do the talking.
Whether you want to represent your business, show off your organization’s secret recipe, or just prove you’ve got the best chili in town, they want you involved.
Entry for competitors is completely free, and you’ll be cooking for a chance to take home some serious bragging rights, plaques, and cash prizes, including $500 for the People’s Choice winner and $250 for the Judges’ Choice.

Keep in mind that the big day kicks off early with setup starting at 6:00a.m., followed by the judges’ tasting at 9:30a.m., before the event opens to the public from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.
Even if you aren’t stepping into the kitchen yourself, you absolutely need to come by to join the fun. Grab a tasting kit for just $10 to sample all the delicious entries, and don’t miss the high-energy Cornhole Tournament hosted by the Lassen County Baggers, which promises to be a blast for both competitors and spectators alike.
