At SusanvilleStuff, we believe in the power of direct connection, which is why we’ve launched a new series of Community Conversations to bring Lassen County residents and our community leaders together face-to-face. By stepping away from the filters of social media and the formality of emailed questions, we hope to foster genuine, open and honest dialogue.
This is your opportunity to voice your concerns, ask the questions that matter to you and participate directly in shaping the future of our community as we work to build trust, increase transparency and ensure that every resident has a meaningful voice.
Please join us this Thursday, March 12th, at 5:30p.m. for the first installment of this series. The event will be held in the board room at the Lassen Municipal Utility District, located at 65 S. Roop Street.
For the first forum we are happy to have Lassen County Sheriff John McGarva and Lassen County Probation Chief Jennifer Branning participating. The evening will begin with opening remarks and brief introductions, followed by an update from both Sheriff McGarva and Chief Branning regarding their respective departments.
Once they have finished their opening presentations, we will open the floor for public comment and a Q&A session, giving you the chance to engage directly with our guests.
We have more of these Community Conversations planned with various civic leaders in the coming months. If you are unable to join us in person, please know that the event will be streamed asynchronously on SusanvilleStuff and YouTube, allowing you to watch the discussion at your convenience.
We truly look forward to seeing you there for a productive and engaging evening. If you have any questions you can email Jeremy Couso at [email protected].
