To better the lives of women and children in our local community and around the world, that is the mission statement of the wonderful ladies in the Soroptimist International of Susanville.
This Saturday you can join them at the old golf course clubhouse on Wingfield Road for their ‘Ladies Night Out’ fundraising event, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
This night has something for everyone! You can sit back and relax with a glass of wine, or beer by Lassen Ale Works and enjoy the various activities taking place.
The night will be full of presentations, beginning at 6:00 with some Path Yoga, a Health Educator at 6:45, and No. 7 home decor at 7:30.
There will be a ‘Denim and Diamonds Mingle” fashion show brought to you by Leslie’s Jewelry, The Pardner and Vault Denim.
The Soroptimist event will also feature music by the Susanville String Quartet.
To add to this exciting ladies night out there will be mini massages, a silent auction, door prizes, drawings, and every woman’s fantasy, shopping!
With 9 stores in one convenient place you can be sure to expect a wonderful night of browsing and buying.
Participants must be 21 years or older. Admission is $15 and includes spa water, hors d’oeuvres, and a complementary glass of wine.
