
During the winter, Susanville is a great place to be.
We are fortunate to live where we can build a snowman in our front yard, make snow ice cream with a fresh snowfall, sled close to home and, with a permit, cut down our own Christmas trees in Lassen National Forest.
Bringing in the Christmas season together at our Magical Country Christmas always reminds me how close knit our community is. This year, the event included our new community Christmas tree which was provided by Lassen County Chamber of Commerce. It’s beautiful.

If you, or someone you know, need a meal on Christmas Day, reach out to Community Church of Susanville at 530-251-3803 and sign-up. The meal is free and can either be picked up or delivered to your door.
