Hi there, I’m Boone.
I may not be the first pup to run up and greet you, but I promise I’m worth the wait. I’m a gentle hound mix who’s still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. Loud noises and new things can make me a little shy, but if you sit with me and show me patience, I’ll quietly lean in and let you see the sweet soul inside.
I really like the company of other dogs, they help me feel braver. What I’m dreaming of is a kind and understanding person who will let me go at my own pace, and show me that life can be full of love, treats, and adventures. With a friend by my side, I know I’ll blossom.
