Dingo is energetic and athletic; the perfect addition to any active household.
This handsome boy arrived at the Lassen County Animal Shelter as a stray and since day one he’s been sociable with both staff and visitors. Dingo loves getting outside and playing with other dogs, however it has become evident that he’s VERY smart.
Dingo has learned how to open the gates in the play yard outside and even the door to come back into the shelter. This gives him great potential at becoming an expert escape artist. Dingo would greatly benefit from a person who is willing to work him not just physically but mentally, directing his energy into appropriate outlets.
Dingo has been neutered, brought up to date on his vaccinations, and heartworm tested negative. If interested in meeting Dingo, or other adoptable animals at the shelter, please call staff at (530) 257-9200.
Additional: If there are other dogs already in your home, please bring them along with you for a meet and greet to ensure a great match.
Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.
