They’re fluffy and adorable. Meet Ghost and Casper.
Ghost and Casper arrived at the Lassen County Animal Shelter as strays along with their mom Ivory, who can be viewed on petfinder.com.
They are just a pair of typical older pups with energy galore and a love for playing. It’s clear that they have not been taught how to walk on a lead, so their prospective adopters need to be ready to help them over that hurdle.
Both Ghost and Casper are only about 7 months old and still need to be neutered, but can be adopted from the Lassen County Animal Shelter on a $40 spay/neuter deposit, which the adopter will be refunded once they show proof of neuter. It will be the adopter’s responsibility to ensure Ghost/Casper is neutered within 60 days and they will be fully responsible for all expenses. However, financial assistance for spay/neuters may be available to Lassen County residents through the Lassen Humane Society. Additional: If there are dogs already in the home, it is suggested that potential adopters bring them to the shelter to do a meet and greet with the new dog.
Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.
