Adopt A Pet from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Gizmo

Hi there, I’m Gizmo… and I’m looking for a fresh start.

I’ll be honest—shelter life was a big shock for me. One day, I had a home, and the next, I was in a strange new place with unfamiliar smells and sounds. At first, I was so scared that I just kept to myself, hoping it was all just a bad dream. But the kind humans here have been so gentle and patient with me, and little by little, I’ve started to trust again.

Now, I’ve realized that ear scratches feel pretty amazing, being brushed is the best, and snuggling? Well, I could definitely get used to that! I may still be a little shy at first, but once I know I’m safe, I’ll be your most loyal, loving companion.

I’m neutered, up to date on all my shots, and have tested negative for leukemia—so I’m ready to go home whenever you are. If you have a quiet home and a little patience, I’d love to be your new best friend. Could you be the one I’ve been waiting for?

Please contact the Lassen County Animal Shelter with questions/inquiries at 1.530.257.9200.
