Adopt A Pet from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Mister

Mister is one handsome guy. Just take a good long look into that golden stare and it’s impossible to miss it. He’s a stunner.

If you’re looking for a wonderful feline companion, look no further than Mister himself. Since his arrival at the Lassen County Animal Shelter, Mister has been melting hearts. He talks to staff as they pass by his kennel, begs for pets and cuddles, but then can be temperamental and let you know when he’s had enough of THAT. Folks who understand cats will know all about that bit of cat-titude. Though, due to this behavior staff recommends children in Mister’s new home to be older (10+).

Mister’s estimated to be about 2 years old, neutered, UTD on his vaccinations, and leukemia tested negative. If interested in learning more about Mister, or other adoptable animals at the shelter, please call staff at 1.530.257.9200.

Additional: In observance of Lincoln’s Birthday, the Lassen County Animal Shelter will be closed on Monday February 12th. The shelter will re-open on Tuesday the 13th.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 530.257.9200.
