Hi, I’m Ripley. I’ve been here a little while now, and I’m not really sure why no one has picked me yet. I watch people come and go, hoping someone will stop and see me because I’m so ready to make a new friend and soak up all the attention I can get.
The volunteers here (especially my friend from Jackie’s Sit Spot!) say I’m a dream to walk on a leash, and I’m very treat motivated, which means I’m eager to learn and love showing off my “sit” and “down” skills. I just need a chance to show you how smart, loving, and engaging I really am.
Sometimes it’s hard to see a dog’s true personality in a kennel, but put me in the play yard, and I promise you’ll see my heart shine. I’m ready to connect, to love, and to finally have someone choose me.
Please come visit me and spend a little time by my side, I think you’ll see just how special I am.
Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.
