Adopt A Pet from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Willow

The end of the year is fast approaching, along with a flurry of snow showers and holiday events, and the air is buzzing at the Lassen County Animal Shelter. Furry friends, big and small, are making their Christmas wishes. They all are hoping for the same thing: a new home and family to call their own.

Willow is the biggest wisher of them all. She’s bright, enthusiastic, and so full of a contagious type of energy that you can’t help being happy in her presence. Willow is the ultimate snow dog, willing to play for hours on end outside in the chilly weather. So long as she has a warm home to relax in with her favorite people at the end of the day, of course.

This peppy girl is about 3 years old, UTD on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and spayed. If interested in learning more about Willow, or other adoptable animals at the shelter, please contact staff at (530) 257-9200. As always, if there are other dogs already in the household, staff recommends that potential adopters bring them along for a meet and greet to ensure a good fit.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 530.257.9200.
