Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Briggs

UPDATE: Briggs has been adopted.

Briggs is a mature silver lab looking for someone to lounge with.

He’s a laid back guy who would rather be in someone’s company than chasing after toys. Briggs has gotten along with other dogs at the shelter and only offers gentle sniffs and tail wags to our resident cats. He walks well on a lead, so he won’t be one to pull you around. Rather, he’ll enjoy a nice, easy walk alongside his person. Briggs will be neutered Monday 8/31, heartworm tested, and up to date on his rabies vaccination.

For more information on Briggs, call the Lassen County Animal Shelter at 257-9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
