Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Clancy

0

Clancy is in the market for a new forever home!

This boy has had a rough go lately, but he eventually made it safely to the Lassen County Animal Shelter and has been settling in just fine. He was certainly nervous and unsure upon arrival, but now he greets staff with tail wags and happy smiles.

He enjoys getting outside each day and truly has a playful puppy side once he gets to know a person. Clancy will benefit from an experienced dog owner; he’s a puller while on the lead. This guy is fairly compact but he’s very strong and can tug away at whoever is on the other end of his leash.

Further evaluation needs to be done to see how Clancy does with other dogs. Should there be another dog in a potential new home, it is recommended to bring him along for a meet and greet to ensure they get along. Additionally, Clancy would do best with older, respectful children.

Clancy is a Catahoula mix about a year old. He will be neutered, heartworm tested, and fully vaccinated prior to adoption. If interested in meeting Clancy, please call the Lassen County Animal Shelter at (530) 257-9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis.
