Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Grace

Lassen County Animal Shelter – Grace

Grace is a beautiful Akita mix that came to the Lassen County Animal Shelter as an owner surrender. She’s about a year and a half old, enjoys the company of people, and loves hanging out in the outside dog runs at the shelter. She truly isn’t one to turn down a good head scratch from visitors. This girl knows how to butter you up fast.

Grace craves an active lifestyle and would make a wonderful hiking companion. She will also need a secure yard; she’s smart, athletic, and determined. Grace has a high prey drive and would do best in a home without cats, small dogs, or other small animals. Children in a potential new home for Grace should be older and respectful.

This pretty girl will need to be spayed before she can go home. Interested adopters can come meet and visit with her prior to her procedure.

Questions and inquiries can be answered by calling the Lassen County Animal Shelter at (530) 257-9200. More pictures and a short video of Grace can be seen on Petfinder.com.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
