Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Jenny

Lassen County Animal Shelter – Jenny

Jenny came to the Lassen County Animal Shelter as an owner surrender along with her friend, Buddy (who can be seen on Petfinder). Since arriving at the shelter Jenny has been fine with staff petting her, despite being in completely strange and new surroundings. She hides but will come out if coaxed with gentle pets. One look into her gorgeous green eyes will make anyone’s heart melt.

She would do best in a quiet home, preferably with a mature family who have the patience to help her out of her shell. Small children may be a bit much for her at this point in time. Staff knows she gets along well with other cats, though are not sure about dogs currently.

Jenny is about 4 years old, spayed, and UTD on her rabies vaccination.

Questions and inquiries about Jenny can be answered by calling the Lassen County Animal Shelter at (530) 257-9200. Jenny and other adoptable animals can also be viewed on Petfinder.com.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
