Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Kirby and Rumba

Kirby and Rumba are a brother and sister duo about 5 months old. They have been altered, are leukemia tested negative, and are up to date on their vaccinations.

Kirby is the cuddler of the two; he loves to lounge on his person’s shoulder and purr loudly. And Rumba is the more petite and dainty of the pair. She meows for attention and enjoys playing with cat wands. Adopting these two together would be ideal. They will keep each other entertained while their owner is out at work and will certainly seek affection and attention from their person when they arrive back home.

Kirby and Rumba get along with other cats, don’t seem to mind dogs at all, love children, and are ready to find their new FOREVER home. If interested in meeting these fabulous felines, stop by the Lassen County Animal Shelter located next to the Susanville Airport on Johnstonville Rd. Questions and inquiries can be answered by calling 257-9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
