Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Myrrh

Myrrh

The Lassen County Animal Shelter has been working diligently to find homes for all their adoptable animals this holiday season. Next on the list is Myrrh!

According to Santa, Myrrh has been good this year and all he wants for Christmas is a window perch to call his own where he can enjoy the sight of all the snow heading our way comfortably.

He’s an affectionate and talkative feline waiting for his forever home over at Pet Station. Myrrh will be the 20th cat to be adopted out through Pet Station this year and the Lassen County Animal Shelter is thankful for the help and dedication from Pet Station staff. Myrrh isn’t camera shy; he had no problems with dawning a festive collar and posing with Pet Station staff for a dashing photo.

Myrrh (pronounced MUR) is 6 months old, neutered, and leukemia tested negative.

If interested in meeting this sweet boy, the friendly staff at Pet Station would be happy to help with an introduction. Pet Station is located at 2936 Main St. in the Sierra Center. Their contact number is (530) 250 -2473.

To learn about other adoptable animals, please contact shelter staff at (530) 257- 9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
