Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – New Cat Enclosures

The Lassen County Animal Shelter would like to send out a huge heartfelt ‘thank you’ to the Lassen Humane Society and Cheryl and Ken Holmes for generously donating three new cat enclosures. Two of them have made wonderful additions to our outdoor ‘catio’ area, making the space even more versatile.

The amount of vertical space now available for cats and kittens to climb and explore is pivotal to keeping the temporary shelter residents comfortable during their stays.

Thank you, Lassen Humane Society! We appreciate the donation and we can already tell that they will be huge hits with the cats that pass through our doors.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
