Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Otis

Otis is ready for a loving home!

Things have been a bit rough for Otis, but despite that he’s always in good spirits. Shelter staff suspects that Otis may have taken a spill out of the back of a truck due to various superficial injuries, but he’s been healing quickly. He’s got plenty of spunk and energy, but he has no problem with settling down and cuddling with a favorite person.

Otis is a border collie mix with an adorable half tail. He enjoys running around outside, sunbathing, and would make a wonderful hiking buddy. Questions can be answered by shelter staff by calling the Lassen County Animal Shelter at 257-9200. Or come on down to the shelter to visit and spend some time with Otis. The shelter is located next to the airport off Johnstonville Rd.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
