Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Wally

Wally is a handsome Lab/Pyrenees cross. This sweet guy can be shy at first but he opens up fairly quickly. He enjoys being outside in the fresh air and very well may have the best smile at the shelter.

Wally is two years old, neutered, and ready to meet prospective adopters. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

Due to his size, Wally will easily knock down small children and could even get over-excited with older children/adults. A dog owner experienced with large guardian breeds would be the ideal fit for Wally.

If interested in meeting Wally, please call shelter staff at (530) 257-9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
