Affected by the Dixie Fire? Lassen County Residents Can Get Low Income Home Energy Assistance

Is money short because of the Dixie Fire? Did you miss work due to evacuation? The Lassen Economic Development Corporation has Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program funds available to help with your heating costs.

Income eligibility is based on last 30-days of total household income which means people who normally won’t qualify possibly will now. Income guidelines may surprise you. A family of 4 can make $4,675 per month and still qualify. Medical insurance premiums are deducted from gross income.

If you think there is a chance you qualify please come in or call, they want to help.

Applicants can receive up to $700.00 payments for propane, kerosene, natural gas or electric.
