The Honey Lake Valley Recreation Authority, a joint venture between the Susanville City Council and the Lassen County Board of Supervisors, will hold their inaugural meeting Tuesday afternoon, in the council’s chambers at 66 North Lassen Street.
Heading up the move towards a community swimming pool are four board members; County Supervisors Jim Chapman and Larry Wosick and City Council members Brian Wilson and Nick McBride.
The process to begin recruiting a fifth member for the recreation authority, appointed from the local community, will be discussed at the meeting.
The board will also consider the appointment of Chair and Vice-Chair positions, take a look at staffing needs and discuss the appointment of other officers.
