The Diamond Mountain Casino and the Susanville Indian Rancheria will host the Susanville All-Indian Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament, scheduled to take place this Friday through Sunday, May 1st through May 3rd. This regional event will bring together athletes and fans for a weekend of highly competitive basketball held at two primary locations, including the Susanville Indian Rancheria at 845 Joaquin St. and Lassen College at 478-200 CA-139.
Competition is expected to be fierce as teams vie for prestigious awards, with ten prizes being presented per winning team. The top honors include Pendleton jackets for first place, sweaters for second place and long-sleeve shirts for those finishing in third.
Beyond the action on the court, participants can enjoy a free player breakfast on Saturday morning between 7:00a.m. and 11:00a.m., which will be hosted at 735 Joaquin Street.
The entry fee for each team is $450. No personal checks are accepted for these fees; all payments must be made via cashier’s check or money order addressed to the Susanville All-Indian Basketball Tournament and mailed to 699-105 Yah-Monee Dr. in Susanville.
The host hotel is Diamond Mountain Casino, located at 900 Skyline Road.
