The Almanor Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest announced Thursday that there is still a need for volunteer campground hosts for the Almanor North and Potato Patch campgrounds this summer.
Host duties may include welcoming visitors, posting reservations at campsites, sharing news and information, and light campground maintenance, including cleaning restrooms and picking up trash.
Hosts must have a self-contained RV or trailer and a personal vehicle for transportation. Free propane and a campsite are provided.
The 2015 recreation season began in mid-May and extends through mid-September, as conditions allow.
