Parents, caregivers, and educators are invited to the Lassen County Fairgrounds this March for a special day dedicated to the most rewarding – but often most stressful – job there is: raising children.
Sierra Cascade Family Opportunities and the Family Connections Planning Committee will host the 2026 Annual Family Connection Conference on Saturday, March 21st, from 9:00a.m. to 2:30p.m. at Jensen Hall.
This year’s theme is “Step up to the Plate of Parenting: Resilient Parenting is Weathering the Storm.” The event is designed to give attendees practical ideas on how to create a “Connected Family.” Participants can look forward to good food, great conversation, and a memorable presentation from featured speaker Justin Margolis, who will discuss building resiliency and navigating the challenges that come with parenting.
Food and Childcare
To help you relax and enjoy the day, light morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Free childcare is available on the premises for children ranging from 12 months to 6th grade, but please note that reservations are required.
To support a focused environment for the adult participants, children 12 months and older are not permitted inside the conference hall. Childcare must be booked by March 13th by contacting Jessica Stading at 1.530.601.2114 ext. 1103 or via email at [email protected].
