Annual Swing for Cancer Tournament Happens August 31st

For more than a decade now, Northern California Cancer Advocates has held their annual fundraising golf tournament at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course, raising money for Cancer Fighters in Lassen and Plumas counties. This year the tournament will be held August 31st.

The group’s twelfth annual Swing for Cancer Golf Tournament starts with an 8:00a.m. check-in time and a 9:00a.m.

To play it costs $125 per person, $500 per team, which includes green fees, cart and lunch at the turn.

Even if you don’t play golf you can come out to the clubhouse to bid on great raffle prizes and enjoy a Chorizo sandwhich.

There will be contests for ladies and gents ‘closest to the pin’ and a lucky drive contest.

All money made at the tournament will go to benefit Cancer Fighters in Lassen and Plumas counties.

Organizers say that there are only spots for five teams left to fill! Prepaid teams are guaranteed a spot in the tournament.
