Monday morning, at around 1:30, Engine 621 from the Susanville Fire Department responded to 408 Alexander for a reported RV on fire, arriving on scene to find smoke coming from the rear of the RV.
“Fire crews made entry into the RV and extinguished the fire,” explains SFD Fire Captain Kalvn McFarland.
“The RV had moderate fire damage, heavy smoke, and heat damage. The cause of the fire was arson and is under investigation.”
The Susanville Fire Department was supported by the Susanville Police Department.
