Lassen County resident Megan Dahle has announced that she will be running for the 1st Assembly District seat vacated by her husband Brian in early June, after he won a special election for the District 1 Senate seat.
A primary election will be held on August 27th and, if no candidate receives more than 50 percent of the vote, a runoff will be held on November 5th.
Dahle is one of three candidates who have announced their intention to run for California’s 1st Assembly District. Joseph Turner from Milford, who until recently was the Lassen County GOP chairman and Patrick Jones from Redding have also signaled they will take part in the upcoming election.
There will be a special Meet and Greet event for Dahle this Tuesday, June 25th from 8:00 until 9:30a.m., at the El Tepeyac Restaurant, 1700 Main Street in Susanville.24
