The Susanville Renegades American Legion 17U baseball team opens up the season Sunday, June 7 at Memorial Park. They will host the Sun Devils for a 12:00pm doubleheader. The Redding area travel team is made up from players from Foothill, Shasta, Enterprise, Anderson and West Valley high school players.
The Renegade roster will have the following returning players: Jake Thomas, Izak Davenport, Tommy Sharpe, Hunter St. Andre, Carson Chavez, Colton Surian, Kobe Jackson and Jagger Delgado.
Newcomers on the roster are: Oliver Cruz, Jacob Bennett, Spencer Lively, Darrell Miller, Malik Delgado, Cole Dyer, Jason Lynn, and from Chester High, Spencer Lee.
The following week, the Renegades will travel to Sutter for a tournament on June 12-13. They will host the Thomas Tucker Tournament on June 19-21 at Memorial Park.
