Baseball: Susanville Renegades Play Saturday and Sunday

 The Susanville American Legion A@B Teams both played on the weekend of June 7th and 8th.
The B Team hosted a doubleheader at Memorial Park on Saturday against Reed High School from Sparks, Nev. They lost the first game 15-11. Jake Thomas, Hunter St Andre, Colton Surian and Kobe Jackson all had two hits for the Renegades. In the second game they lost 12-2. The B Team is currently 1-2 on the season.

The A Team traveled to Tiger Field in Redding and came home with a 5-3 win. They got a strong pitching performance from Jarrell Cunningham. He threw six shutout innings giving up only three hits and a walk. The Renegades struggled in the seventh inning, giving up three runs to tie the score 3-3. They came back in the 8th when Hunter St Andre drove in a run with a sac fly and Tommie Sharpe drove in the final run with a two out hit. Colby Chavez pitched a perfect 8th and 9th innings to secure the win. Ryan Sharpe had three hits and Justin Spinner and Travis Fuller each had two. The A Team is currently 3-2 on the season. They host a double-header at Memorial Park against the Reno Muckdogs on Tuesday June 10th at 3:00.
