Basketball: Triple Threat 8th Grade Girls win Championship

This past weekend Triple Threat Basketball took 12 teams to compete in the annual Battle of the North State in Redding.  Over 110 Kids from Susanville played a total 42 games!  This is a very competitive tournament that had teams from all over the North State and Southern Oregon!  Triple Threat met this challenge battling in every bracket.  What an awesome group of kids we have playing for Triple Threat.  They played like champions on and of the floor!

The 8th grade Triple Threat girls heated up Cool April Nights in Redding Ca. over the weekend winning the Freshman division in the Battle Of The North State Tournament!  The girls went 3-0 in the tournament beating teams from all over the Redding area.  This makes this group of girls the 3 time defending champions of the Battle Of The North State!  The girls would like to send out a huge thank you to Derry and Ilene Converse and Converse Plumbing for their brand new custom uniforms!  Thank you to the Shasta Magic organization for putting on a great tournament!  Congratulations Jewel Kerby, Hailey Mena, Chelsea Williams, Caitlyn Crosby, Grace Gatie, Shassi Wengu, Kylie Eidson, and Taylor Greer for playing with the big girls and defending your title!  You can see the girls in action May 7th when they head to Rocklin Ca. to battle it out at the Hardwood Palace for another tournament win!
 Triple Threat brought home two championships the 9th grade girls Coached by Danny Mena.
