Be a Blood Hero: Lassen College Hosting Blood Drive Today from 10:00 to 3:00

Every three seconds, someone in the United States needs blood and more donors are needed daily for trauma, surgery and cancer patients in our community. The blood you donate today can help save up to two lives. Since blood can’t be manufactured, we rely completely on volunteer blood donors.

Natural disasters like wildfire and hurricanes often force Vitalant to cancel blood drives in affected areas. It’s important for donors to give regularly to maintain an adequate supply at all times.

Lassen Community College will be sponsoring a blood drive today, September 3rd, from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. in the lower parking lot by the Sports Complex on the college’s Highway 139 campus.

Appointments are recommended to ensure social distancing. Walk-ins are welcomed. They have 20 open appointment slots for today’s blood drive.
