Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the month of December, the Lassen County Fair will be hosting its annual ‘Holiday Festival of Lights’ exhibition at the fairgrounds.
The displays are built by different local groups, organizations, and individuals for the public to drive through and ‘oooooh and ahhhhhhh’ at during the season.
Signups and display space are free. First place youth entry will win $250 for their group. There are two divisions – one for businesses or service organizations and one for youth clubs and organizations.
There is also a decorating contest for the 9 trees that line Main Street near the fairgrounds’ entrance. The first place entry will win $150.
All entries must be submitted by November 28th, by 4:00p.m. at the fair office.
