Beaty and Associates Managed Timberlands Closed to Public Access Due to Extreme Wildfire Danger

0

Due to extreme wildfire conditions and risk to lives and property, W. M. Beaty & Associates, Inc. is closing its managed timberland in Lassen, Plumas, Modoc, Shasta, and Siskiyou Counties. This closure began yesterday, and will remain in effect until further notice.

“Beaty and Associates takes its commitment to protecting the forest resources they manage, as well as public safety seriously,” explained the company’s Chief Forester Ryan Hilburn.

“With this year’s extreme drought conditions bringing significant wildfire risk the difficult decision has been made to close these lands to public access and recreation.”

The public’s use of Beaty managed roads and walk-in access to their managed timberlands will not be allowed. To learn more about W. M. Beaty & Associates’ recreation policies and current closure restrictions, click here.
