Berenice M. Munn 3.24.1941 – 2.17.2022
Berenice Maxine Munn born Berenice Maxine Fryer March 24, 1941, moved to Vallejo, Ca with her family at a very young age. Known to everyone as Bea. Survived by her mother Opal Fryer 102 years of age, brother George Allen Fryer, sisters Esther Lambert and Virginia Silva, her children Dennis Richardson, Sherry Castaneda and Tina Hedge along with her grandchildren: Robert Snyder, Amanda Sutton, Katie Poteete, Anita Castaneda, Christopher Castaneda, and Leonard Hedge, IV. Mom wanted to have a baseball team of children and only got us 3 so our children gave her 15 great grandchildren.
Bea was divorced and raised us on her own, sacrificing her needs for us when she met and married Herbert Munn and was able to get her diploma and work as a bookkeeper for K-Mart for 16 years in Napa California. When they retired they moved to Susanville to be with us kids. Mom and Pops are now together. Missed by everyone that knew them and loved by all. Bea was one of God’s Angels on this earth and has now gone home.
Services will be held on March 21, 2022, at 10:00a.m. at Walton’s Colonial Mortuary.
