In Memory of Betty (Ragsdale) Clements April 25, 1938- September 30, 2022
Betty passed away peacefully at her home in Weiser, Idaho. She loved her family and friends, cooking, baking, gardening, in her orchard, yard work, sewing and shopping. She loved her work of 32 years at Diamond View school in the library, where she met and worked with her best friends for life.
Betty also loved traveling. Yuma AZ., being her second home, having the best of times with her dear friends. She will be missed by ALL. A very fun, loving, caring and gentle soul. Full of gracefulness and an infectious smile.
Betty was proceeded in death by her parents, father Clarance Carter, mother Martha Mae Carter, brothers Joe Carter Sr. and Dewey Carter, and Sister Delores Swain. Her husbands Lee Ragsdale and Fred Clements. Grandson Michael Herndon and great grandson Andrew Scott Herndon.
Betty is survived by her daughters Rhonda (Ragsdale) Herndon & Keith, Laura (Ragsdale) Allen & Brock, Carol (Ragsdale) Bertrand & Ed. Grandsons Matthew Herndon &
Shaylene, Lucas Gonzales & Tamira, Daniel Sullivan & Marie, Bryan Sullivan, and granddaughter Tarah (Sullivan) Baumiller. Great grand children, Hayden, Kimberlee, Morgan, Nicholas, Alabama and Lily Jessie Rose Herndon. Mallari and Sawyer Gonzales, Averie Sullivan, Wyatt, Waylon, and Wesley Baumiller. Numerous nieces nephews and cousins. And a very special friend and sister-in-law Debbi (Clements) Daniels from Weiser Id.
Graveside service will be held at the Diamond Crest Cemetery in Johnstonville, Calif. October 15· 2022 at 11:00am. A potluck reception will be held after the service at a location yet to be determined.
