Local cyclists have a new reason to celebrate as the Susanville Area Bicycle Association continues working to improve our local trail experience. Board members Aaron Johnson, Mark Kovacic and Randy Robbins recently spent the day installing a high-quality public bike repair stand at the Historic Railroad Depot, with another stand planned for Susanville Ranch Park in the near future.
The depot repair stand was installed this week in cooperation with Lassen Land and Trails Trust and is already fully operational and ready for public use at the Bizz Johnson Trailhead. The second repair stand will be set up at the main parking area at Susanville Ranch Park soon.
Equipped with all common bike repair tools, these heavy-duty stations allow trail users to make quick adjustments, pump up tires, or handle minor fixes right at the trailhead.
SABA expressed enthusiasm for the new additions, noting that the organization is excited to contribute to our amazing local trail system by providing these high-quality repair stands to help keep riders safe and on the trails.
