If you’re hungry and don’t mind your fingers getting a little messy, you won’t want to miss the main event this Saturday, August 25th as Diamond Mountain Casino presents their spectacular Rib Cook-Off.
“A fun experience in a great community with a lot of things to do and see,”said Cathy Morrison, Director of Events at the hotel and casino. “We want to get people excited about the community and what the community can do when we pull together.”
Beginning at 4:00p.m. 5 different competitors will put their culinary skills to the test, attempting to take home the title of Best Rib Cooker in Town.
Featured in the competition will be beef ribs, pork ribs and even St. Louis ribs, along with different variations of side dishes.
Lots of people will be joining in the fun at the cook-off, Peggy’s Pieces, No. 7 Home decor, Velata, Scentsy, Grace Adell, Perry Poole, Miche, Green Stitches.
Rib Cook Off contestants will be Diamond Mountain Casino & Hotel, Sierra Sue’s, Cattlemen’s, and US Cellular.
During the whole night there will be a live DJ for entertainment.
This is one of Susanville’s biggest and best family friendly events of the summer, and one no real rib connoisseur can miss! So head on down and enjoy the exciting night of friends, food, and fun from 4:00 to 9:00 in the tent at the Diamond Mountain Casino!
