Fresh local produce, handmade artisan crafts, and vibrant community gatherings are officially returning to Lassen County. The Local Area Revitalization Project Co-Op has unveiled its highly anticipated 2026 Farmers Market lineup, boasting more locations, more dates and more opportunities to support local growers than ever before.
The season officially kicks off on Saturday, June 13th.
This year’s expanded roster is made possible by a network of generous local hosting partners dedicated to bridging the gap between local agriculturalists and community tables.
From Saturday morning markets to mid-week evening get-togethers, residents will have multiple weekly venues across Susanville and Janesville to source fresh food and goods.

A Summer Full of Fresh Markets
The flagship Uptown Morning Market returns to Susanville on Saturday mornings from 8:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. Moving across Main Street from last year’s location and generously hosted by Lassen Municipal Utility District, this market will take over their parking lot – the old Bank of America lot – right off of Main Street and North Gay Street.
The Saturday morning series runs on June 13th, 20th, and 27th; July 11th and 25th; August 1st, 8th, 22nd, and 29th; and concludes in the autumn on September 12th and 19th.
For those looking for a mid-week harvest haul, the action shifts to Janesville on Thursday afternoons for the Education Farm Harvest Market. Held from 4:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. at the LARP Co-Op Thompson Peak Education Farm (located at 420 S. Church Street, right next to Pizza Factory and Artisan Coffee), these harvest gatherings will run on July 23rd and 30th, all through August on the 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th, and finish up on September 10th, 17th, and 24th.
Community members can also look forward to the popular Wednesday Night Market Series, which runs from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at rotating local destinations. This year’s Wednesday evening route stops at Thompson Peak Lavender Farm on July 1st, hits a specialized location to be determined on August 12th, and visits the Lassen Ale Works Boardroom on September 2nd.
Additionally, the Lassen Ale Works Boardroom Market located at 702-000 Johnstonville Road will host its own morning markets from 8:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. on Saturday, August 8th, a unique Sunday edition on August 16th, and a final date on September 26th.
Organizers note that the community can expect extra pop-up markets here toward the end of the summer when the area is absolutely rolling in peak local produce. The co-op has also aligned market days with major community collaborations. You can catch them at the Lassen Chamber of Commerce Classic Car Show & Shine on June 27th, the 2026 Lassen County Grown Harvest Hootenanny Event on October 3rd, and the Lassen Land & Trails Trust Rails-to-Trails Event on October 10th.
Both October dates feature special morning market hours from 8:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. to stretch out the autumn harvest.
