Golden 1 Credit Union
Golden 1 Credit Union offers a variety of free financial workshops, covering topics such as Banking Basics, Understanding Credit, and 10 Steps to Financial Success. They also host an interactive Financial Wellness Challenge, which engages students in budgeting activities to enhance their money management skills in a fun way.

If your organization, like a school or youth group, is interested in hosting this free financial workshop, Golden 1 Credit Union work with you to schedule a time. they’re looking for a minimum of 15 participants.
Some of the topics covered in the workshops include:
Fundamentals: Banking basics, credit, and budgeting
Goals: Saving milestones, becoming a homeowner, and retirement planning
Mindset: Gratitude, abundance mindset, and overcoming financial barriers
Specialty: Finances for small business owners, gig economy, and college financing

Susanville Public Works’ Natural Gas Survey
Each year Susanville’s Public Works Department conducts a Public Awareness Natural Gas Survey, which is an essential tool to the Gas Division. It is their way of gauging how well their outreach provides natural gas safety information to the community.
This year if you complete the survey, you will be automatically entered in a chance to win a new Austin XL Smoker. You will be entered just for taking the survey.
