Help make Christmas special for the dogs and cats at the Lassen Animal Shelter and score some great LED Christmas Lights at the same time! Lassen Municipal Utility District is partnering with the Lassen Humane Society to collect items during their Pet Treats for Lights drive.

Dagger, best friend of linecrew foreman Cory Kindle and unofficial LMUD Office Dog, models the LMUD pet bandana.

You can help LMUD, help animals in need this year by donating new, unwrapped dog/cat toys, dry or wet cat food and dog food, pet dishes, durable chew toys, leashes, collars and pretty much anything dog or cat related.

LMUD can’t take rawhide chews, blankets, toys or beds with stuffing and heated blankets.

Pet Treats for Lights continues until LMUD’s supply of LED lights is exhausted. But if you are feeling especially generous, you can bring in pet supplies through the end of the year.

The first 200 customers who bring their pet into the LMUD office to help drop off their goodies, will receive a custom, LMUD pet bandana! If your pet is shy, just drop by with a photo of your furry friend and they will be happy to make sure they get a bandana.
