Thompson Peak Lavender
There’s a lot going on over at Thompson Peak Lavender and you should attend one of their events before the season is over. Tonight and tomorrow, July 23rd and 24th, come out and enjoy the fields in the evening from 4:00 to 8:00p.m., the Lavender fields are the perfect place to slow down, so bring a book, grab a coffee, take a walk through the Lavender, and enjoy a peaceful evening on the farm. Or maybe you would like to create a Lavender Wreath? They will be offering a wreath making class this Friday at 6:00p.m., for $60 a person. Saturday they are open all day from 9:00a.m. to 8:00p.m.
Sunday, July 26th, it’s Movie Night in the Lavender. Movie Night is $35 per family. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and feel free to pack your favorite treats or dinner. They will provide s’mores and popcorn for everyone to enjoy.
On Saturday, August 1st, you will want to attend the Lavender Festival from 5:00 to 9:00p.m. At the festival you can enjoy live music, a beer garden, food vendors, Lavender activities for all ages and local shopping in a beautiful setting. Firehouse Grill Announces New Menu and New Event Schedule
If you haven’t dropped by the Firehouse Grill in Janesville lately, you are missing out. Beyond serving up fresh flavors with their brand-new food menu, they are giving locals plenty of reasons to gather with a full lineup of weekly events and drink deals throughout the weekend.
Thursdays are all about billiards, featuring free pool all day long for anyone looking to play a casual game. For those with a competitive streak, the weekly Pool Tournament kicks off every Thursday night. Players should arrive by 7:30p.m. to register before the tournament officially begins at 8:00p.m., which features a $20 buy-in.
The fun continues into Friday night with Trivia Night from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. You can gather your sharpest friends into teams of four and test your knowledge for a quick $5 team buy-in, with prizes awarded to the top-scoring team of the night.
To round out the weekend, Saturday nights host the “No Rest 4 The Wknd” party starting at 7:00p.m. and running straight through until closing time. Guests can unwind with fantastic drink specials, including $5 seltzers and $3 bottled beers.

Join Anytime Fitness Susanville for Family Fun Day at Memorial Park!
Anytime Fitness Susanville is bringing the community together for an action-packed Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 1st, from 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. at Memorial Park.
This full-day event offers something for everyone in the family. Attendees can look forward to interactive games, crafts, face painting, a water slide and a bounce house to help beat the summer heat.
In addition to local food vendors and booth displays, the event will feature an exciting First Responders Olympic Competition to celebrate and support our local heroes.
