Smith’s Pumps 20th Anniversary
Locally owned and community-driven, Smith’s Pumps marks two decades of delivering water system solutions with honesty, speed and reliability!
This year, Smith’s Pumps, a trusted name in water system service and installation, proudly celebrates twenty years in business, a milestone that reflects both the company’s deep roots in the community and its steadfast commitment to quality work and personal service.
Founded and operated locally, Smith’s Pumps has built its reputation by offering dependable, high-quality water systems for families, farms, and businesses across Lassen County. Over the last two decades, the company has grown into a go-to resource for everything from well and pump installations to plumbing upgrades and emergency repair services.
“We’re not just working in this community, we live here, too,” says company owner, Brett Smith. “That’s why we do our best to serve every customer with the kind of care and attention we’d give our own neighbors.”
What truly sets Smith’s Pumps apart is its focus on fast, honest, and friendly service, values that have become increasingly rare in today’s fast-paced world. The team is known for its reliable communication, making sure to answer phone calls, return messages promptly, and work closely with clients to ensure their systems meet their exact needs.
Perhaps most importantly, Smith’s Pumps prioritizes customers who are without water, understanding just how disruptive that can be to daily life. “We will always squeeze someone into our busy day if they call and are out of water,” Smith says.
The company provides a full range of water system services, including:
- New well and pump system installations
- Emergency troubleshooting and repairs
- Electrical rewiring and plumbing retrofits
- Routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Custom water solutions for remote and off-grid locations including ag wells
As many rural systems age, Smith’s Pumps also specializes in modern upgrades, helping customers bring outdated equipment up to current standards with improved efficiency and performance.
Smith’s Pumps is more than a business; it’s a community supporter. Over the years, the company has donated to and sponsored numerous local programs, events, and youth activities. Their contributions include ongoing support for the Lassen County Junior Livestock Auction, Claybreakers, local softball teams, and various 4-H groups.
“We believe in giving back to the place we call home. Supporting our youth and local programs is an important part of who we are.”
This commitment to community has helped Smith’s Pumps not only grow a loyal customer base, but also play a meaningful role in shaping the future of the region.
As they mark two decades of service, Smith’s Pumps is grateful for the continued support of the Lassen and Plumas County community and remains dedicated to raising the bar for water system services in the area.
“We’re proud of what we’ve built,” says Smith, “But we’re not slowing down. We’ll continue to improve, serve, and give back because that’s what this community deserves.”
