Welcome to our weekly feature dedicated to covering Susanville and Lassen County’s business scene! Grand openings, new employees, renovations, new hours… each week we’ll keep you up to date with important information about the businesses you rely on.
Mandy Heard and Lavender Glow Co
A popular local wellness and skincare hub has a brand-new home. Lavender Glow Co. has officially moved into a beautiful, expanded space located at 55 North Roop Street, right next door to its former office.
The move marks an exciting new chapter for business owner Mandy Heard, a licensed esthetician and massage therapist who has been serving the Susanville community with specialized corrective skincare, acne treatments, anti-aging facials and relaxing spa experiences.
A New, Expanded Space for Wellness
According to Heard, the new location was designed to elevate the client experience from the moment they walk through the door. The larger footprint features multiple private treatment rooms for enhanced comfort and client privacy, alongside a welcoming retail area.
The expanded building also features a dedicated space showcasing Heard’s very own proprietary skincare line, MaeVora.

“My mission has always been to help clients feel confident in their skin while providing a relaxing, results-driven experience,” Heard said.
“Whether through personalized treatments at Lavender Glow Co. or products from MaeVora, my goal is to empower people to love the skin they are in.”
Heard developed the professional MaeVora line after nearly two decades of hands-on work with clients. Her goal was to provide clean, effective, acne-safe and anti-aging products that combine advanced ingredients with a gentle, skin-supportive approach that delivers real results.
Advanced Aesthetic Services
With the move to the expanded space, Lavender Glow Co. continues to offer a comprehensive and diverse menu of specialized skincare options. Clients can book everything from customized facials and Hydro Glow treatments to specialized acne treatments and full Acne Bootcamp programs.
The clinic also provides advanced resurfacing options like dermaplane facials, chemical peels, and Procell microchanneling, as well as cosmetic finishing touches including brow lamination and lash lift services.
A Collaborative Beauty Destination
The new North Roop Street location also introduces a powerful partnership for local beauty enthusiasts. Nicomi Injects, owned by Registered Nurse Nicomi Lee, is now operating within the very same building.
Lee offers professional injectable services, turning the new location into a true one-stop shop. By sharing the space, Heard and Lee are creating a collaborative beauty destination where Susanville residents can seamlessly access both advanced skincare treatments and professional medical aesthetic services under one convenient roof.

“We are very excited to introduce the new owner of Hydra Clean, Weston Ormachea,” says former owner Doran Wheeler. “Weston was a former Hydra Clean employee for three years and is a third-generation resident of Susanville.
