Susanville Supermarket IGA
You can now shop Susanville Supermarket IGA online and have your groceries delivered the same day by Instacart. Point, click and have everything delivered to your doorstep.
According to store owner Jessica Miller the Instacart option has been available for a while, but the store did not want to launch it until everything was perfect.
“The problem was it was still too new to our area and with limited drivers it did not do well the first time around so we put a pause on the Instacart side until a few months ago,” explains Miller.
“With more drivers and more businesses involved we have seen not only an increase in orders, but an increase in the positive feedback about Instacart.”
Miller also said that they are still using their older online shopping system, called Rosie, for those customers who would prefer to pick up the order and have IGA’s knowledgeable staff put it together.
“Instacart can be a great tool when there isn’t enough time in your day – let someone else do your shopping for you! You have the ability to be as vague or as specific as you want to be on each item that gets put in the cart and I personally have had some really great instacart shoppers!”

Sierra Tan
Sierra Tan is up and running at their new location at 707 Main Street in uptown Susanville.
Hours are Monday thru Friday, 10:00a.m., until 6:00p.m., Saturdays 10:00a.m. until 2pm.
The tanning salon’s new phone number is 1.530.310.0525.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers and friends for being so patient while we took on this new endeavor,” says owner John Stout, who adds that walk in’s are welcome, but please if you can, make an appointment so they can guarantee that they have a tanning session for you.
Past clients minutes are still on the computer, however, if you had not picked up your lotions prior to closing in 2023, all lotions have been discarded.
Susanville Indian Rancheria Job Fair
Diamond Mountain Casino & Hotel will be hosting a job fair on March 21st, from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. in the casino’s Diamond Willow Room.
