Country Gardens
Have you been out to Country Gardens in Standish yet this year? I took my mom there yesterday and, just like every time I visit, I was in awe. I love visiting Country Gardens. If you are a flower lover like me then you know what I’m talking about.
Right now at Country Gardens the nurseries are full and the soil is on sale, and just wait until you see the gorgeous hanging flower baskets that will make any spot you hang them beautiful.
Country Gardens also has a few specials going on right now – if you buy 10 or more 4″ Proven Winner annuals you get 10% off. Soil is 10% off as well as their chicken coops. And all lawn furniture is 25% off.
Country Gardens will be open through the month of June. Greenhouse hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 to 4:00p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays they are open 8:00 to 6:00p.m., closed Sundays. You can find them at 721-425 Capezzoli Lane, in Standish.
I highly recommend a visit to Country Gardens, you’ll be happy you went.
Susanville Supermarket IGA Tri-Tip BBQ
Craving BBQ? Then head over to Susanville Supermarket IGA because it’s time again for their outside Tri-tip BBQ stand.
Stop by IGA on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 till 5:00p.m., weather permitting. They offer Tri-tip Sandwiches, Whole Tri-tips, rack of Baby Back Ribs and Cheddar Bacon Brats. Getting hungry just thinking about it.
Honey Lake Valley Community Swimming Pool
Honey Lake Valley Community Swimming Pool is open for the season. The pool is open for public swim on Saturdays and Sundays and they have multiple exercise programs happening.
The new schedule for summer starts on June 9th with daily public swim times. If you would like to purchase a pass the pool’s office hours are 3:30 to 6:30p.m. or during any regular scheduled program.
