Haven Studio Salon 5th Anniversary Celebration

Haven Studio Salon, 614 Main Street in historic uptown, opened its doors in November of 2020, and what used to be the iconic Primo Deli was transformed into a beautiful, up-scale Salon. Renovation revealed the beautiful stone walls original to its beginnings.

Today, Haven Studio Salon is proud to be your destination for exceptional hair and beauty services. Their team specializes in precision cuts, custom coloring, lash extensions, microblading and comprehensive beauty treatments for both women and men.

They take pride in displaying local art, earthy tones, as well as coffee, tea, beer and wine bar and Wifi.

The salon is inviting everyone to help them celebrate their 5th Anniversary on November 14th, from 5:00 to 7:00p.m.

Hors D’oeuvres, drinks, live music, and prizes will be offered to help everyone celebrate!

Jason Colbert Construction

Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, the team at Jason Colbert Construction has been hard at work helping bring new life to one of Susanville’s most cherished traditions, the Magical Country Christmas. Partnering with the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce, Jason Colbert Construction has been leading the installation of a brand-new Christmas tree stand to support the larger tree the Chamber recently purchased.

The design for the new stand was created by NST, and Jason’s team has been working closely with the City of Susanville to ensure all permits and planning details were properly handled to bring this project to life.

The construction process has been a true community collaboration, with concrete donated by TNS Trucking and Ready Mix and the concrete work completed by SD Concrete and the entire project organized and overseen by Jason Colbert Construction.

This upgrade ensures that Uptown Susanville will have a safe, durable and beautiful foundation for its annual Christmas tree lighting for years to come.

Jason says that he and his crew are proud to give back to the community that supports them, continuing their long-standing tradition of craftsmanship, reliability and hometown pride.

Golden 1 Credit Celebrating 30 Years in Susanville

Golden 1 Credit Union is proudly celebrating 30 years of service in the Susanville community. The Susanville branch first opened its doors on Halloween in 1995, and since then, as Assistant Branch Manager Barbara Oxford says, “we’ve been honored to grow alongside this wonderful town.”

Led by Branch Manager Phoenix Wingo, the dedicated team continues to provide trusted financial services with a personal touch.

“We’re proud to be part of Susanville’s story and grateful for the opportunity to serve our members every day.”

The history of the Golden 1 began in 1933, when a group of dedicated Californians came together with a shared vision: to create a financial cooperative where hard-working people could support one another’s success. That vision has turned Golden 1 into one of the nation’s largest credit unions, with more than $20 billion in assets and over 1.1 million members.
