Lassen Municipal Utility District

The Lassen Municipal Utility District is inviting its community to join in a special celebration of Public Power Week. As part of its annual tradition, LMUD is hosting an event to thank its customers for their support with a complimentary morning treat, emphasizing its core belief that “Public Power Builds Better Communities.”
The celebration takes place today, October 9th, at Susanville Supermarket IGA from 6:30 to 8:00a.m.
Attendees are invited to stop by during the event hours for a free, small coffee or hot chocolate, paired with a variety of regular doughnuts.
LMUD is proud to serve the community and hopes residents will join them for this sweet celebration of public power.
Diamond Mountain Casino & Hotel

Local football fans are in for a treat as NFL Hall of Famer Rod Woodson is scheduled to appear at the Diamond Mountain Casino & Hotel on Thursday, October 16th.
The exciting event, taking place at the casino, located at 900 Skyline Road in Susanville, promises an unforgettable evening.
The night will kick off with a Steelers vs. Bengals Watch Party.
Following the game, attendees will have a chance to meet the legendary defensive back, with autographs and photo opportunities with Rod Woodson available.
Woodson, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009, is celebrated as one of the greatest defensive players in the game’s history. His illustrious 17-season career included stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens and Oakland Raiders.
This is a unique opportunity for fans to shake hands with one of football’s finest right here in Susanville.
Blue Ox Bistro Afternoon Tea

Join Blue Ox Bistro for a Fall Tea on Sunday, October 19th. They will be offering two seating times – from 4:30 to 6:00p.m. and 6:30 to 8:00p.m. at 602 Main Street in Susanville.
The menu features something for everyone, including a full tea service, tiered trays with charcuterie, classic tea sandwiches, a seasonal salad and a dessert plate.

Wemple’s Pumpkin Patch Chamber Mixer

The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for a festive fall event with the Wemple’s Pumpkin Patch Mixer.
This is a perfect opportunity to welcome the autumn season, network with local businesses and enjoy an evening of family fun amidst the picturesque setting of the pumpkin patch, located at 450-525 Wemple Lane in Milford.
The mixer is scheduled for Thursday, October 16th, from 5:30 to 7:30p.m.
Attendees will have the chance to explore rows of pumpkins, savor seasonal treats like warm pumpkin soup and partake in classic autumn activities.
