OM-AH Holistics
OM-AH Holistics is a new Wellness Center and Meditation Studio opening up in Susanville. They will be holding their Grand Opening Event this Saturday, September 21st, and they invite the community to join in for a twenty-minute guided meditation at 11:00a.m., followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony and refreshments at noon.
Founders Teresa Mossinger and Erika Mankins, are a mother-daughter team that is working to bring holistic wellness and mindfulness to the community.
Mankins, tells us, “We are excited to introduce the teachers and healers that will be working alongside us to provide the best holistic wellness services available in our area.”
Om-Ah will be passing out raffle tickets to everyone who walks through the doors this Saturday for a chance to win some fun prizes. They will be having an end of summer sale on merchandise and will be offering savings on services purchased during the event.
The open house will be held from noon to 3:00p.m. They ask that you please RSVP for the morning meditation and invite anyone who is interested to come and check it out.
On Sunday, September 22nd, at 6:00p.m., Om-Ah will be hosting a Fall Equinox Meditation and Soundbath event. The cost is $25 presale and $35 at the door. Their Fall 2024 Book Club starts Monday the 23rd at 6:30pm. For more info on upcoming classes and events visit www.om-ah.com
DJ Night with SommertimeFlow
Gather your friends to celebrate the equinox at the Diamond Mountain Casino & Hotel this Saturday, September 21st, from 9:00p.m. to 1:30a.m., as DJ SommertimeFlow creates a musical mosaic of reggae, jungle, drum & bass and more that will keep you dancing all night long at a free DJ night.
SommertimeFlow is an experienced Reggae deejay who plays a wide variety of Roots, Dub and Dancehall – both vinyl and digital. He has recently branched into Jungle, D&B (drum & bass) and Rollers to bring more energy to the dance floor.
SommertimeFlow says that he is very proud of his carefully curated mix set: “Seven Seals” – a series of seven all-vinyl mixes totaling eleven hours of incredible reggae music. You can find Seven Seals on Soundcloud.

JandJ Performing Arts
JandJ Performing Arts has a new dance instructor, Miss Olivia Ormachea.
Ormachea has been dancing since she was three years old, training in ballet, jazz, hip hop, tumbling, acro and modern dance styles.
As a JandJ competitive dancer she trained with professional dancers and teachers from some of the most prestigious industry jobs and renowned schools around the world, competing on stages all over California and Nevada.
She’s has also attended numerous dance conventions and trained with many master teachers along with her rigorous training at JandJ.
Ormachea is well-known throughout the community, having been crowned Miss Lassen County in 2022 and served her community thru this scholarship title.
According to Jessica Wade, Owner of JandJ Performing Arts, “Ormachea has always been a stunning dancer and her acro tricks have been highlighted in many routines throughout the years. She’s excited to shape dancers and tumblers into their own shining stars, and show them that they can reach higher than they think.”
